Ten Maisy first-experience books for children aged 2 to 5, written and illustrated by Lucy Cousins and published by Walker Books.
The Maisy series has been a staple of early childhood settings for over thirty years. What makes it especially useful for educators is the subject matter: each book follows Maisy through a real situation children encounter themselves, going to hospital, visiting the dentist, a sleepover, an eye test, a wedding, the cinema. These are exactly the moments that benefit from being talked through beforehand, and Maisy's warm, uncomplicated approach makes each one ideal for preparation conversations and for settling anxious children.
The simple text and bold, cheerful illustrations also make the series accessible for very young children and for those still building confidence with books.

The books a fabulous. Creative and well worded. Prices can not beat anywhere else for sure.
Highly recommend to parents or readers to children for bedtime or evening reads in groups or individuals independent.
Please note, the books in bundle which are the ones we got are on the thinner side. And pages are to a degree delicate if handle without care. If the child or childern is of age to rip anything apart. I wouldn’t recommend individual independence and only for group and bed time or evening reads with adult supervision.
Good thing about the thinnest is that it doesnt not require a lot of space, which means 1000% can buy more books to read if thats the preference im the house.
Hope this helps someone :)
We ordered the Maisy children’s book set from Super Cheap Books and couldn’t be happier. The value is fantastic for the number of books included and delivery was impressively quick. Our daughter is absolutely loving them all — the stories are engaging, colourful and perfect for her age. Highly recommend!
